Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Fabrication Engineer / Inspector who can inspect and ensure the quality of fabrication work as per company standards, drawings, and specifications. The candidate should have good knowledge of fabrication inspection, dimensional checking, welding quality, and material inspection.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect fabrication work at different stages of production.

- Check fabricated components as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

- Perform dimensional inspection using UTM, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, and other measuring instruments.

- Have practical knowledge of using a Spectrometer for material identification and verification.

- Verify raw materials, plates, pipes, sections, and other fabrication materials before production.

- Check material dimensions, thickness, length, width, and other required parameters.

- Inspect welding joints, fit-up, alignment, welding appearance, and overall fabrication quality.

- Identify defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, improper welding, distortion, dimensional errors, etc.

- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.

- Ensure all materials and fabricated components meet the required specifications.





- Coordinate with the production and fabrication teams to resolve quality issues.

- Conduct final inspection before dispatch or delivery.

- Monitor and maintain inspection tools and measuring instruments.

- Ensure measuring instruments are properly calibrated and used correctly.

- Raise non-conformance reports (NCR) for defective or non-conforming materials/work.

- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintain proper documentation of inspection and testing activities.

- Support internal and external quality audits when required.

- Follow company safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.

Required Technical Skills The candidate should have positive working knowledge of:

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
