Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Quality Engineer (DQE) for our Chandapura, Bengaluru facility. You will be responsible for defining, validating, and establishing quality standards for new structural packaging designs, printed packaging, and paper molded pulp prototypes before mass production.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with design and R&D; teams during the initial structural design of rigid boxes, folding cartons, and corrugated packaging.
- Conduct and document DFMEA and PFMEA for new packaging structures and print specifications.
- Validate prototype samples, structural integrity, color accuracy (Pantone/CMYK), and drop-test/bursting-strength qualifications.
- Establish inspection standards, limit samples, and quality criteria for mass production launch.
- Drive root-cause analysis for design/prototype defects using 8D, 5-Why, and CAPA tools.

Key Requirements

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering.
- Experience: 37 years in Design Quality, Quality Assurance, or NPI in the Packaging / Printing industry.
- Skills: DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, GD&T;, 8D Problem Solving, Color Management, ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards.

We are hiring a Process Integration Engineer (PIE) for our Chandapura unit. You will act as the technical bridge between client specifications, structural design, and shop-floor printing/conversion operations to drive yield improvements and smooth NPI rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee process integration for Current Product Introduction (NPI) across printing, die-cutting, lamination, rigid box automated lines, and assembly.
- Analyze line yields, rejection rates, and process bottlenecks to drive continuous process improvements.
- Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flowcharts, and control plans.
- Interface between client-facing engineering teams and plant production to execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Drive root-cause analysis on yield loss and process variations on high-speed packaging lines.

Key Requirements

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Packaging, Printing Technology, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 38 years in process engineering, integration, or NPI within printing, paperboard converting, or packaging manufacturing.
- Skills: Yield Optimization, Process Flow & Control Plans, SPC, PFMEA, Minitab, Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen.

3. Product / Process Quality Engineer (PQE)

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Process Quality Engineer (PQE) for our Chandapura, Bengaluru plant. You will oversee shop-floor quality assurance, in-process inspections, and line audits during offset printing, lamination, die-cutting, and box assembly.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily line audits and in-process quality inspections across offset printing, pasting, rigid box assembly, and packing lines.
- Monitor key quality parameters including color consistency, registration, creasing, adhesion, GSM, bursting strength, and dimensional accuracy.
- Handle immediate line rejections, non-conformance reports (NCR), and material holds to maintain low defect rates.
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to track process capability ( ).
- Lead 8D problem-solving and CAPA implementation for internal rejects and customer complaints.

Key Requirements

- Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–6 years of shop-floor QA/QC experience in printing, corrugated box, or rigid box manufacturing.
- Skills: 7 QC Tools, In-Process QC, SPC, 8D / CAPA, Control Plans, ISO 9001 internal auditing.
