Position: Quality Control (QC) Executive – Orthopedic Implants & Instruments

Location: CTM, Ahmedabad

Experience: 2-5 years

Work Timing: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ( Monday to Saturday)

Salary: 23000-25000/Month

Job Title

Quality Control (QC) Executive – Orthopedic Implants & Instruments

Job Summary The QC Executive is responsible for inspecting, testing, and ensuring that orthopedic implants and surgical instruments meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications before release.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of orthopedic implants and instruments.
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, profile projector, CMM if applicable).
- Review manufacturing drawings and specifications.
- Ensure products comply with ISO 13485, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct visual inspection for surface finish, defects, marking,



and packaging.
- Maintain inspection records, QC reports, and traceability documents.
- Identify and report non-conforming products and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure calibration status of measuring equipment.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in orthopedic implants or medical devices.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of orthopedic implants and surgical instruments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.
- Understanding of ISO 13485, GMP, and quality documentation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
