About the Role

We are looking for an Executive – Quality Control to join our Quality team.

The candidate will be responsible for testing raw materials and packaging materials, colour matching, checking material properties, ensuring quality standards, and supporting day-to-day quality control activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality testing of plastic materials, pigments, and packaging materials.
- Check plastic properties, flowability, and other material specifications.
- Perform colour matching using a Benchtop Spectrophotometer.
- Test samples as per defined specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure incoming materials and products meet the required quality requirements.
- Identify quality issues and support root-cause analysis.
- Support corrective and preventive actions for identified quality issues.
- Maintain accurate test records and prepare quality reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor stock of materials and consumables required for quality testing.




- Maintain and follow Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures.
- Follow company quality standards and Total Quality Management practices.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of plastic materials and plastic testing.
- Knowledge of pigments and colour matching.
- Experience with a Benchtop Spectrophotometer will be an advantage.
- Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures.
- Knowledge of material testing and quality standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging Science & Technology will be an added advantage.

Experience

2–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, Plastics, Packaging, Pigments, Cosmetics, FMCG, or a related manufacturing industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in plastic/material testing and colour matching.
- Experience in packaging, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong quality orientation and attention to detail.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams.
- Candidates based in Mumbai will be preferred.
