Job Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products as per approved quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure products meet required specifications.
- Maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
- Identify quality defects, deviations, and non-conformities and coordinate for corrective action.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Coordinate with production, laboratory, and other departments regarding quality-related issues.
- Ensure samples are properly collected, labeled, stored, and sent to the laboratory for testing when required.
- Follow up on laboratory test reports and maintain proper records.
- Ensure rejected or non-conforming materials are properly identified and segregated.
- Support root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality procedures, and applicable standards.
- Conduct routine quality audits and inspections.
- Train production staff on basic quality requirements and inspection procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality reports for management.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper documentation within the quality-control area.

- Good knowledge of quality inspection and testing procedures.

- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate with production and laboratory teams.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and SOPs.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and manage quality activities effectively.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech. or relevant qualification in the applicable field.
- Experience: 25 years in Quality Control / Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Accuracy and timely completion of inspection reports.
- Reduction of customer/internal quality complaints.
- Timely closure of quality deviations and corrective actions.
