We are looking for a QC Chemist – Analytical Laboratory to join our manufacturing facility at Saykha GIDC, Bharuch.

Job DescriptionThe QC Chemist will be responsible for conducting analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products and ensuring that all materials meet established quality specifications.

The role requires hands-on laboratory work, accurate documentation, proper handling of chemicals and analytical instruments, and close coordination with the Production and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform chemical and analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including:
- HPLC
- UV-Visible Spectrophotometer
- Spectrometer
- Karl Fischer
- Titration equipment
- Analytical balance
- Other routine laboratory equipment
- Carry out sample preparation, reagent preparation, standardization and routine laboratory activities.
- Perform testing according to approved SOPs, specifications and testing procedures.
- Record, review and maintain accurate analytical data and laboratory records.
- Prepare test reports and support Certificate of Analysis (COA) documentation.
- Conduct routine calibration checks and ensure proper functioning of laboratory instruments.




- Identify and report abnormal or out-of-specification results.
- Assist in investigation of deviations and analytical discrepancies.
- Maintain proper laboratory housekeeping and follow chemical handling and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams regarding testing requirements and product quality.
- Support audits, quality documentation and other laboratory-related activities when required.

Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry preferred.
- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing or analytical laboratory will be preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of chemical analysis and laboratory practices.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, Spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer and titration is highly desirable.

Experience3-10 years of relevant experience preferred. Freshers with strong practical knowledge and relevant educational qualifications may also be considered.

Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a technically strong, responsible and detail-oriented chemist who can independently perform laboratory testing, maintain accurate records and work effectively with the Production and Quality teams.

Hands-on laboratory experience will be given preference over purely theoretical knowledge.
