Role Description The Quality Control Chemist (Pharmaceuticals/Nutraceuticals) is a full-time, in office role based in Jaipur. The role involves performing routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards. The chemist will operate and maintain laboratory instruments, prepare reagents and standards, document test results accurately, and assist in investigating out-of-specification or out-of-trend results.

Daily responsibilities include executing validated methods, supporting stability studies, participating in calibration and qualification activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of laboratory procedures. The role also requires close collaboration with production, R&D;, and regulatory teams to support timely release of materials and products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control skills, including familiarity with GMP/GLP practices and pharmaceutical/nutraceutical quality standards.
- Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills, such as sample preparation, method execution,



and safe handling of chemicals and biological materials.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, trend analysis, and problem-solving in relation to test results.
- Candidates should possess experience with Laboratory Equipment, including operation, routine maintenance, and documentation for instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis, and other analytical tools.
- Candidates should possess Calibration experience, including performing and documenting calibration and qualification of laboratory instruments according to SOPs.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals, and familiarity with quality documentation and reporting.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Prior experience in a QC laboratory in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry is an advantage.
