QA Engineer - Manual Testing

Location: Bangalore, 5 days WFO+1 day WFH

About the Role

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of web/SaaS products. You’ll own test execution, identify edge cases, validate workflows, and work closely with product and engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

- 1-4 years of experience in Manual QA/Software Testing.
- Hands-on experience testing web applications or SaaS products.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.
- Ability to independently create test scenarios and identify edge cases.
- Strong bug reporting and defect lifecycle knowledge.
- Good understanding of severity and priority.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Test web applications, UI flows, workflows, edge cases, and integrations.
- Create and execute test cases based on product requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing.
- Identify, document,



and track bugs with transparent reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.
- Re-test fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
- Identify gaps in requirements, test coverage, and product workflows.
- Test task prompts and graders for clarity, accuracy, and correct pass/fail evaluation.
- Identify grader bugs, edge cases, false positives, and false negatives.
- Maintain test cases, test plans, and regression checklists.
- Participate in requirement and feature discussions from a QA perspective.
- Prioritize defects based on severity and impact and collaborate with developers on resolution.

Good to Have

- Experience with enterprise SaaS/B2B products.
- Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, Google Sheets, or Postman.
- Basic understanding of APIs, databases, frontend/backend systems, and data seeding.
- Experience testing enterprise products such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Canva, Power BI, or DocuSign.
- Exposure to AI/LLM products or AI evaluation.
