QA Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to own the quality of our web, mobile, and API products. You will work closely with product managers and developers in an Agile environment, testing features end-to-end, identifying issues before they reach users, and helping strengthen our testing strategy and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Review PRDs and user stories, identify gaps early, and help define clear acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UI/UX testing across web and mobile.
- Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools, including responses, status codes, error handling, and edge cases.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries.
- Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar tools, with clear reproduction steps, severity, and evidence.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts for regression and critical user flows.
- Contribute to improving test strategies and frameworks.
- Support junior QA team members.




- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and release sign-offs.
- Provide a clear go/no-go recommendation on release readiness.
- Support UAT and help investigate production issues.

Required Skills & Experience
- Up to 4 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a product company.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Strong manual testing skills with attention to edge cases and negative scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman or equivalent).
- Experience with JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Positive to Have
- Experience building or extending an automation framework.
- Performance testing experience using JMeter or k6.
- Exposure to automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Working knowledge of SQL.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
