Role Description The Quality Assurance Intern role at QalystLabs is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The intern will assist in executing test cases for web and mobile applications, documenting test results, and reporting bugs in a clear, structured manner. Day-to-day tasks include supporting QA engineers in manual testing, participating in regression and functional testing, and helping maintain test documentation and checklists.

The intern will collaborate with product, development,



and QA teams to understand requirements, validate features, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. The role may also involve learning basic test automation concepts, working with QA tools, and supporting quality-related metrics and reporting.

Qualifications

- Foundational understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with an interest in applying these principles to software products.
- Awareness of Quality Management concepts and structured approaches to process improvement.
- Basic knowledge of Quality Auditing practices and compliance-oriented thinking; familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar standards is a plus.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in identifying and documenting issues.
- Ability to learn QA tools and concepts quickly, including test case design, defect tracking, and basic automation frameworks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
- Motivation to build a career in quality engineering, with openness to working on AI-powered and automation-driven QA solutions.
