Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer (QE) / Test Automation Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in Automation Testing and exposure to the US Healthcare Payer domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, API Testing, SQL Validation, and healthcare application testing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise healthcare platforms while building expertise in test automation and quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Support testing of Healthcare Payer applications covering Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, and Care Management modules.
- Validate healthcare data and EDI transactions such as 834, 837, 835, 270/271, and 278.
- Execute REST/SOAP API testing and backend database validation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and senior QA team members to ensure product quality.
- Participate in defect triage, test planning, and release validation activities.
- Contribute to maintaining automation frameworks and QA best practices.

Must-Have Skills





- 2 to 5 years of experience in QA, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Tosca.
- Experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Robust SQL skills for database validation.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC processes.
- Exposure to US Healthcare Payer applications or healthcare domains.
- Knowledge of EDI transaction testing (834, 837, 835, 270/271, 278) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Healthcare platforms such as Facets, QNXT, HealthRules Payor (HRP), or GuidingCare.
- Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, X12, and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic understanding of AI-assisted testing tools and automation accelerators.
- Certification in Tosca, Selenium, or Healthcare Testing is an added advantage.

Location: Bangalore / Chennai

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Work Mode: Hybrid

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or serving notice period less than 45 days.
