QA Engineer – Zoho Applications

Experience: 4–6 Years in Software Testing

Zoho Testing Experience: Minimum 1 Year testing Zoho CRM or Zoho Creator

Location: Bengaluru – In-Office

Working Hours: 3–4 hour overlap with US client hours

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on Zoho CRM/Creator testing experience to validate Zoho-based financial workflows from initial development through go-live.

The candidate will be responsible for functional, integration, API, financial, end-to-end, regression, UAT, and release testing across Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Books, and Catalyst services.

Key business workflows include dealer onboarding, credit limits, ACH payments, invoicing, settlement, inventory ordering, reconciliation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create detailed:
- Test scenarios
- Test cases
- Test data
- Regression suites
- Test Zoho CRM and Creator applications across:
- Functional flows
- UI
- Roles and permissions
- Workflows
- Blueprints
- Test Zoho portals and cross-module business processes.
- Perform API and integration testing using Postman or similar tools .
- Test:
- Webhooks
- Payment provider callbacks
- KYC provider integrations
- POS platform events
- REST APIs
- Validate financial edge cases including:
- Duplicate transactions
- Timeouts
- Partial failures
- ACH returns
- NSF
- Closed accounts
- Reversals
- Reconciliation mismatches
- Validate credit-ledger behavior under concurrent requests to ensure the same credit is not consumed twice.
- Execute complete E2E flows such as:
- Onboarding → Credit → Transaction → Invoice → Payment → Reconciliation
- Build and maintain regression suites.
- Automate key test flows using Zoho QEngine,



Selenium, or Playwright .
- Support performance and volume testing.
- Support SIT, UAT, and client-user testing.
- Perform cutover and production smoke testing.
- Log, triage, track, and retest defects.
- Report test progress, defect trends, coverage, and quality metrics.

QA Ownership The QA Engineer will own and coordinate:
- Overall test strategy and test plan.
- Cross-pod integration and E2E test coordination.
- Defect triage and quality reporting.
- Regression coverage.
- Release-readiness recommendations.
- Client UAT coordination.
- Final cutover testing and smoke validation.

Must-Have Skills
- Strong manual testing experience.
- Solid knowledge of:
- Test design
- Test-case writing
- Defect lifecycle
- Regression testing
- Hands-on testing experience with Zoho CRM and/or Zoho Creator .
- Minimum 1 year of Zoho application testing.
- API testing using Postman or similar tools .
- Ability to read and validate JSON responses.
- Basic SQL for data validation.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Experience with defect-tracking tools such as Jira or Zoho Projects .
- Should have tested at least 1 production Zoho implementation .

Good-to-Have Skills
- Test automation using:
- Zoho QEngine
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Financial/payments/billing testing experience:
- ACH
- Card payments
- Ledgers
- Reconciliation
- Performance testing using JMeter or similar tools .
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
