QA Engineer – Mid LevelWe are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong software testing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the quality and stability of our software platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to test new features, identify issues and edge cases, prevent regressions, and continuously improve our QA processes.

RoleAs a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining software quality throughout the development and release cycle.

You will independently test new features and releases, create and maintain test scenarios, investigate defects, perform regression testing, and help ensure that releases meet the expected quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Understand product requirements and identify gaps, risks, and edge cases.
- Create detailed test scenarios and test cases for current features and changes.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Independently validate features before production releases.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
- Perform regular regression testing to ensure overall system stability.
- Work closely with developers, product, and delivery teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain QA documentation and test coverage for existing functionality.
- Investigate production defects and assist with root-cause analysis.
- Identify areas where testing can be automated.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and release quality.

Expected Skill SetRequired
- 1–2 years of experience in software QA/testing.




- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience writing and executing structured test cases and test scenarios.
- Experience testing web-based applications.
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP requests, and JSON.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently investigate and reproduce software issues.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly document defects and communicate them to developers.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and delivery teams.
- Ability to take ownership of quality from requirement through release.

Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Experience with browser developer tools for debugging.
- Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks.
- Experience with performance or load testing.
- Experience working with SaaS products.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
