Role Overview

- We are looking for a skilled QA Automation / Quality Engineering professional to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mission-critical enterprise banking applications.

- The role involves designing and maintaining automation frameworks, validating APIs and backend services, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous quality improvements across the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

- * Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, backend services, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
- * Define and implement automation and quality engineering strategies based on project requirements.
- * Develop reusable automation scripts and improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and reliability.
- * Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- * Conduct API, database, backend, integration, and event-driven system testing.
- * Validate data integrity and backend processes using SQL and database testing techniques.
- * Integrate automated test suites and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- * Work with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
- * Identify, investigate, document, and track defects while working closely with Development, Product, Architecture, Business, and Data teams.
- * Contribute to performance, scalability, resilience, and reliability testing.
- * Monitor and analyze quality metrics, automation results, and testing risks.




- * Improve continuous testing practices and increase automation coverage throughout the development lifecycle.
- * Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and code reviews.
- * Mentor junior QA/automation engineers and contribute to automation best practices where applicable.
- * Evaluate and adopt modern automation tools and AI-assisted testing approaches where they can improve quality and engineering efficiency.
- * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built into the product from the early stages of development.
- * Support continuous improvement of Quality Engineering processes, standards, frameworks, and tools.

- Technical Skills

- * Selenium / Playwright / Cypress or equivalent UI automation frameworks
- * Rest Assured / Postman or equivalent API testing tools
- * SQL and database/backend validation
- * Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions
- * Performance testing and engineering
- * Kafka or similar event-driven/messaging platforms
- * Azure / Kubernetes or other cloud-native technologies
- * Solid programming and software engineering fundamentals

Experience

- 3–5 years: QA Automation / QA Engineer profiles with strong hands-on automation experience.
- 9–12 years: Senior/Lead profiles with experience in automation architecture, quality engineering strategy, mentoring, and technical leadership.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Enterprise SaaS, or other complex regulated environments is preferred.
- Candidate Profile

- The ideal candidate should be an engineer who can build and improve automation solutions, rather than simply execute predefined test cases.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills are required.
