We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of our software applications through effective test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, functional testing, regression testing, API testing, and defect life cycle, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and technical requirements to understand testing scope and objectives.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on project requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
- Verify application functionality across different browsers, devices, and environments where applicable.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure business requirements are met.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a quality and testing perspective.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other QA team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform defect verification and regression testing after fixes.
- Maintain accurate testing documentation, reports, and test execution results.
- Identify potential risks, gaps,



and quality issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality.
- Support release validation and provide testing status and quality reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to defined QA standards, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing.
- Experience in writing explicit and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Good understanding of Defect Life Cycle and defect management processes.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, preferably using Postman.
- Basic understanding of SQL/database testing.
- Good understanding of Web application testing and browser compatibility testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Work Time - Monday to Friday (9.30 am to 6.30pm) Location: Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata (Only West Bengal based candidate can apply)
