Role Description The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, responsible for overseeing procurement activities to support MSI Communication’s purchasing operations and services. This role includes managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely procurement of equipment, supplies, and services.

The Purchasing

Manager will monitor inventory levels, analyze purchasing data, and optimize procurement processes for cost-effectiveness and quality. Daily tasks involve coordinating with internal teams to understand their needs, maintaining accurate purchasing records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.



The role also includes evaluating current suppliers, managing purchase orders, and contributing to continuous improvement of the supply chain.

Qualifications

- 10 to 15 years of strong skills in purchasing, vendor management, and contract negotiation, with the ability to secure quality supplies and services at competitive costs.
- Experience in inventory control, supply chain coordination, and basic logistics planning to maintain optimal stock levels and timely deliveries.
- Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and use of procurement or ERP software to track spending, evaluate performance, and support decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional internal teams.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a purchasing or supply chain role, preferably in health, wellness, or service-oriented environments.
