Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, cost negotiations, and timely availability of materials required for business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, and other requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts, and other departments.
- Compare quotations and conduct cost analysis to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Track pending orders, delivery schedules, and material shortages.
- Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and specifications.
- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.
- Maintain proper purchase records,



vendor documentation, and MIS reports.
- Support management in developing procurement strategies and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing workplace.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchase documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and procurement requirements efficiently.
