Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities specifically for hydraulic cylinder manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers for hydraulic cylinder components and raw materials.
- Procure hydraulic tubes, honed tubes, piston rods, chrome-plated rods, cylinder heads, pistons, glands, bushes, seals, O-rings, wipers, fasteners and other hydraulic components.
- Source steel, alloy steel, EN-series materials and other engineering materials as per technical specifications.
- Handle supplier enquiries, RFQs, quotation comparison, price negotiation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
- Negotiate price, quality, payment terms, lead time and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Develop alternate and backup suppliers to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate closely with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality and Engineering for material requirements and delivery priorities.
- Ensure timely availability of critical hydraulic cylinder components based on production plans.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, quality issues, rejection/rework and corrective actions.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels while controlling procurement costs.




- Handle urgent and breakdown-related procurement requirements without affecting production schedules.
- Analyse market prices of steel, hydraulic components, seals and other engineering materials and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review supplier performance and conduct periodic supplier evaluation and development.
- Coordinate with Finance for purchase bills, payment follow-up and commercial discrepancies.
- Maintain proper purchase documentation, supplier records, comparative statements and MIS reports.
- Ensure procurement is carried out in accordance with company quality, commercial and procurement procedures.

Mandatory Experience Candidates MUST have relevant Purchase / Procurement experience in the Hydraulic Cylinder / Hydraulic Equipment / Hydraulic Components manufacturing industry.

Experience specifically in sourcing honed tubes, piston rods, chrome-plated rods, seals, pistons, glands, bushes and other hydraulic cylinder components will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
