Strategic Procurement & MSS Role Overview :-

To lead Strategic Procurement and MSS activities across Europe & North America. Responsible for driving project sourcing, CAPEX procurement, cost optimization, procurement transformation and commercial governance while developing a high-performing procurement team.

Key Responsibilities :-

1. Strategic & NPD Project Sourcing

Lead end-to-end sourcing for NPD projects from project initiation through SOP.

Drive supplier identification, RFQ, evaluation, negotiation and nomination.

Ensure sourcing risks are identified and resolved without impacting project timelines.

2. Cost & EBITDA Improvement

Drive sustainable cost savings through VA/VE, localization, supplier negotiations, productivity and tooling optimization.

Develop and execute cost-reduction initiatives with the procurement team.

Ensure savings are implemented and delivered against annual targets.

3. CAPEX Procurement

Lead end-to-end procurement for CAPEX projects across Europe & North America.

Manage RFQ strategy, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation, nomination and contracting.

Ensure procurement delivers projects within approved budget and timelines.

4. Procurement Transformation & MSS

Drive procurement digitalization, Cost Master, automation, analytics and dashboard development.

Establish standardized procurement processes and controls.

Strengthen centralized PO governance and MSS effectiveness across Europe & North America.

5. Commercial & Supplier Governance

Establish governance for SOB, PPV, RM,



Forex, supplier panels and commercial contracts.

Lead periodic commercial reviews and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.

Monitor supplier competitiveness and commercial compliance.

6. Team Leadership & Development

Lead and develop NPD buyers and MSS team members.

Build procurement capability through structured objectives, performance management and succession planning.

Drive robust collaboration with Engineering, Finance, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain.

1. Zero sourcing-driven delays to NPD/SOP.
2. Achievement of annual cost-saving / EBITDA targets.
3. CAPEX projects delivered within approved budget and timeline.
