Role Description The Purchase Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. This role involves managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including identifying requirements, sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and coordinating purchase orders for water treatment and related industrial equipment and materials.

The Purchase

Engineer will evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely availability of materials. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate purchasing records, analyzing procurement data,



aligning purchase plans with project timelines, and collaborating closely with engineering, projects, and finance teams. The role also includes continuous improvement of purchasing processes, adherence to company policies, and support for cost optimization and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in creating and managing Purchase Orders.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for vendor evaluation, cost analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in industrial or engineering procurement, preferably in water treatment or related sectors.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings for equipment and materials.
- Solid negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in basic office and procurement software; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
