Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients presenting with various respiratory ailments, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, tuberculosis, and lung cancer.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and medical histories.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, imaging studies, and biopsies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Provide patient education regarding disease management, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Possess a completed medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Have successfully finished a residency program in internal medicine.
- Hold a specialized fellowship certification in pulmonary medicine.
- Demonstrate at least one year of relevant clinical experience in the field.
