Role Description The Public Speaking and Communications Specialist is a full-time, remote role focused on designing and delivering impactful communication experiences for learners and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and conducting virtual public speaking sessions, workshops, and presentations, as well as creating clear, engaging communication materials that support educational programs. The specialist will develop and implement communication strategies for internal and external audiences, draft and refine messaging for announcements and press releases, and collaborate with educators and leadership to ensure consistent,



learner-centric communication.

This role also involves coaching team members on presentation skills, maintaining brand voice across channels, and using feedback and analytics to improve communication effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including public speaking, presentation delivery, and audience engagement.
- Candidates should possess Writing skills for crafting clear, concise, and compelling content for diverse educational and organizational contexts.
- Candidates should possess Strategic Communications and Press Releases skills to plan, structure, and execute messaging for external media and public outreach.
- Candidates should possess Internal Communications skills to support effective information flow, collaboration, and alignment within remote teams.
- Relevant qualifications include experience in education, training, media, or corporate communications; proficiency with online meeting and presentation tools; and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in public speaking, facilitation, or instructional delivery.
