Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Public Speaking Mentor.

The Public Speaking

Mentor will design and deliver online sessions that help learners build confidence in speaking, improve articulation, and develop effective presentation skills. Daily responsibilities include planning lesson content, conducting live or recorded classes, providing individualized feedback, and guiding learners through practical speaking exercises, speeches, and role-plays. The mentor will assess learner progress, adapt teaching strategies to different age groups and proficiency levels, and collaborate with the education team to refine curriculum and learning materials.

Additional tasks may include creating short learning resources, participating in training or team meetings,



and contributing ideas to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to model clear, confident, and engaging delivery.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, or training, ideally in public speaking, communication skills, or related areas.
- Skill in planning lessons, structuring learning activities, and providing constructive, actionable feedback to learners.
- Comfort with online teaching tools, video conferencing platforms, and basic digital content creation for e-learning.
- Excellent command of English, including pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary tailored to different learner levels.
- Empathetic, patient, and inclusive approach to working with learners from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle a full time remote schedule and maintain accurate records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, English, Performing Arts, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Prior experience in debating, theatre, corporate training, or motivational speaking is an advantage.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and openness to feedback and new teaching methodologies.
