We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Design Engineer / Draftsman with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in preparing and understanding GA (General Arrangement) drawings. The ideal candidate will have a robust mechanical drafting background, proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of process design concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, modify, and review General Arrangement (GA) drawings, P&IDs;, and fabrication drawings based on project requirements.
- Understand and interpret engineering and process requirements to generate detailed technical drawings.
- Collaborate with process engineers and project managers to gather specifications and ensure design compliance.
- Work with 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD is a must; knowledge of PRO-E is a plus) to create layouts, piping drawings, and equipment installation plans.
- Maintain drawing/document control in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with relevant industry and safety standards.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) and update technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and support site or fabrication teams, when needed.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support smooth execution of design projects.
