Key Responsibilities

- Project Planning & Execution

- Plan, execute, and deliver projects as per approved scope, budget, and schedule.
- Prepare project execution plan, construction schedule, and resource deployment plan.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans.

2. Cost Control & Financial Management
- Ensure project execution within the approved budget.
- Monitor cost variance on a regular basis and take corrective actions.
- Control cash flow and ensure financial stability of the project.
- Certify contractor bills as per progress and contractual terms.
- Ensure commercial compliance and approvals for any variations.

3. Time Management
- Ensure execution of the project within stipulated timelines.
- Track critical path activities and avoid schedule slippages.
- Conduct regular progress review meetings and implement recovery plans.

4. Contractor & Resource Management
1. Ensure effective engagement and performance of trade contractors.
2. Monitor contractor productivity and adherence to scope, quality, and safety.
3. Optimize deployment of manpower, machinery, and equipment.

Ensure high equipment utilization and minimal idle time.

5. Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Implement QA/QC systems and conduct regular quality audits.
- Ensure closure of snags and defects as per defined timelines.

6. Safety Management
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Implement safety policies, safety training, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor safety compliance and minimize safety incidents.

7. Material & Inventory Management
- Ensure stock optimization and effective material planning.
- Monitor material consumption against norms.
- Reduce non-moving and slow-moving stock.
- Control wastage and pilferage.

8. Contract & Scope Management
- Ensure adherence to original contract scope.
- Manage scope changes with proper approvals.
- Control deviations and variations.

9. Reporting & Governance
- Prepare and submit periodic MIS reports on cost, time, quality, safety, and progress.
- Ensure documentation, audit compliance, and statutory adherence.
- Maintain complete project records.
