About the Project A landmark dual-brand luxury hospitality campus is being developed in Udaipur, Rajasthan - combining ultra-luxury and lifestyle hospitality on a single landholding, with a strong design, craft, and cultural narrative at its core.

This is a ground-up development — from masterplan stage through to opening.

The Role

Title: Senior Project Manager — Hospitality Development

Location: Udaipur

Reporting to: Founders / Owner's Representative Type: Full-time

This is the first hire on the project. The Senior Project Manager will be the owner's eyes, ears, and voice across all consultants, agencies, and vendors — ensuring the project moves with precision, accountability, and the highest standards of quality from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Consultant & Agency Management

- Single point of coordination across all project consultants

— architect, interior designer, landscape architect, MEP, structural, lighting, acoustic, and any specialist consultants
- Manage briefs, deliverables, timelines, and fee structures across all agencies
- Ensure Marriott's design review submissions are prepared, accurate, and submitted on time
- Facilitate and minute all design review meetings — internal, with consultants, and with Marriott's Global Design team

Construction & Site Liaison

- Liaise with the PMC and contractor on all construction-related matters on behalf of the owner
- Track construction progress against programme — flag delays, risks, and deviations early
- Coordinate site visits for consultants and the ownership team
- Monitor quality of construction against approved drawings and brand standards

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

- Support the ID and FF&E; procurement process — shortlisting vendors, tracking samples, approvals, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with local artisan and craft vendors

(particularly relevant given the project's craft-led design narrative)




- Maintain a live procurement tracker across all categories

Budget & Cost Management

- Track project costs against approved capex — flagging variations in real time
- Coordinate with the quantity surveyor / cost consultant on

BOQ reviews and cost reports

- Maintain a monthly cost dashboard for the ownership team

Stakeholder Communication

- Prepare and circulate meeting notes, action trackers, and project status reports
- Manage communication between the ownership team, Marriott, consultants, and contractors
- Draft formal correspondence to external parties on behalf of the owners where required

Regulatory & Approvals

- Track all statutory approvals, NOCs, and clearances required through the development lifecycle
- Liaise with local authorities, government bodies, and legal counsel on approvals-related matters

What We Are Looking For

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in project management within luxury hospitality development
- Demonstrated experience on ground-up hotel projects — from design stage through to handover
- Prior experience working with or alongside an international hotel brand (Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Four Seasons, or equivalent) on a managed property
- Experience managing multiple high-profile consultants simultaneously

Knowledge
- Robust understanding of hotel construction — structure,

MEP, interiors, FF&E;, and OS&E;

- Familiarity with Marriott (or equivalent brand) design review and approval processes is a significant advantage
- Understanding of luxury hospitality brand standards and what they mean on site
- Working knowledge of Indian statutory approval processes for large hospitality developments

Skills

- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Highly organised — able to manage multiple workstreams, consultants, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and standard project tracking tools
- Comfortable preparing presentations and briefing documents for senior stakeholders
