Role Description The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution for valve and fittings orders, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality and regulatory standards. This full time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves coordinating expediting activities, managing project schedules, and aligning stakeholders including production, logistics, inspection teams, and suppliers. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking project milestones, resolving bottlenecks, monitoring inspection and testing status, and preparing progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

The Project

Manager will collaborate closely with logistics to plan shipments, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement in project delivery processes.



The role also requires proactive risk management, customer communication, and adherence to company safety and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

- Project management skills, including Project Management, planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Expediting-related skills, such as Expeditor and Expediting, to track orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely material availability.
- Inspection skills, including familiarity with Inspection processes, quality checks, and documentation for valves and fittings.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate shipments, manage delivery timelines, and handle related documentation.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments; exposure to valves, fittings, or precision components is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact with customers and suppliers.
- Proficiency in project management and office productivity software; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
