About the Role atQor delivers Microsoft-based solutions to enterprise customers under a predominantly fixed-price commercial model. Fixed price means we own scope, cost and schedule risk end to end, and it is the Project Manager who converts that risk into predictable delivery. This is not a coordination role. You will hold the baseline, run the governance, and carry accountability for the commercial outcome of every engagement in your portfolio.

You will operate inside our End-to-End Delivery Governance Framework: five governed phases, each closing at a formal control gate, supported by four tiers of oversight cadence rising from weekly operational reviews to quarterly strategic governance. No phase advances without sign-off, no work begins without a signed charter, and no scope changes without an approved change order. Your task is to make that discipline feel effortless to the customer while holding it firmly inside the team.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

- Six to ten years in IT project delivery, including at least three years running fixed-price engagements end to end with genuine commercial accountability.
- Demonstrated ownership of scope, schedule, cost and margin together, rather than schedule tracking alone.
- Working fluency in at least one Microsoft solution area, whether Azure, Microsoft 365 and Security, Data and AI on Fabric, SharePoint or Business Applications, sufficient to challenge an estimate and hold a technical conversation with an architect.
- Practical command of the governance artefacts: charter, work breakdown, RACI, milestone schedule, risk register, change request log, assumptions log and status reporting.
- Experience running customer-facing steering committees and managing senior stakeholders, including CIO, CFO,



IT leads and business heads.
- Hands-on use of Azure DevOps or an equivalent tool for backlog, sprint and defect management.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to write a status report that a CFO can read without translation.

Preferred

- PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management certification, together with Microsoft fundamentals certification in a relevant solution area.
- Delivery experience on Microsoft Fabric or Power BI data platform engagements, including medallion architecture and semantic modelling.
- Exposure to migration programmes, whether tenant-to-tenant, datacentre consolidation or VMware to Azure.
- Experience transitioning delivered projects into managed services under formally defined SLAs.
- Agile or Scrum delivery experience operating inside a fixed-price commercial wrapper.

The Person We Are Looking For

We want a project manager who is comfortable saying no. Fixed-price delivery is protected by the person willing to hold the line on scope, and that takes the confidence to have an uncomfortable conversation in week two rather than an expensive one in week ten. Equally, we want someone who earns the right to say no by being visibly on top of the detail: the estimate, the dependency, the access request that has been pending for four days.

The second quality is anticipation. Our risk registers flag the same themes across engagement after engagement, stakeholder availability, scope creep, data quality and late decision-making chief among them. A solid project manager sees these forming early and acts, rather than describing them accurately at the point they have already caused damage. You will be judged less on how well you articulate a problem and more on how few problems reach the Head of Delivery unmanaged.
