Role & responsibilities
- Maintain a master plant-readiness plan for each facility: awarded contracts, scope, milestones, contractor, contract value, and current percentage completion.
- Visit every site on a fixed weekly cadence (and daily during critical phases); walk the works with the contractor and record progress, quality observations and safety issues with photographs.
- Identify lack of progress, missing resources, pending approvals, material shortages or design clarifications that are holding up work, and convert each into a dated action with an owner.
- Schedule, lead and minute review meetings with civil contractors, MEP vendors, facility-management agencies and internal stakeholders; circulate minutes within 24 hours and chase closure.
- Expedite awarded work: follow up on mobilisation, manpower deployment, material delivery, work fronts and hand-overs between trades so that the critical path is protected.
- Coordinate utilities and statutory readiness power sanction and DG, compressed air, water,
drainage, fire NOC, factory licence, GIDC / local body approvals with the relevant consultants and departments.
- Track facility-management scope after handover (housekeeping, security, AMC contracts, utilities) until it is secure and transferred to the plant team.
- Check contractor bills and running-account measurements against certified progress before they reach Purchase and Accounts; flag deviations from the awarded scope or rates.
- Publish a weekly Plant-Readiness Dashboard to the COO: milestone status, slippage in days, open issues, decisions required and cash-flow view of contractor payments.
- Ensure contractors work to HHG's EHS requirements PPE, work-at-height, hot work, excavation and electrical safety and stop unsafe work.
Preferred candidate profile
- Local candidate more preferable.
