ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a client-facing Professional Services Engineer to lead the technical implementation, architecture and integration of edge security solutions for our enterprise clients. Working from a System Integrator perspective, you will assess client environments, design the deployment architecture, and execute migrations onto modern Zero-Trust platforms — bridging legacy infrastructure (on-prem proxies, MPLS) and cloud-native SASE/SSE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assessment & Design

- Lead technical discovery workshops to map legacy architecture, application portfolios and traffic flows.
- Author High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation covering traffic steering, proxy chaining, SSL decryption policy and fallback mechanisms.
- Help clients plan prerequisites — allowlists, firewall exceptions, certificate authority provisioning, IdP sync.

SASE/SSE Implementation

- Build, configure and validate tenants covering Secure Web Gateway, CASB and ZTNA.
- Implement DLP policies aligned to client regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, DPDP) with custom detection rules.
- Configure traffic steering and client deployment via MDM/GPO, including bypass and smart-steering rules.
- Deploy Remote Browser Isolation and content-sanitisation (CDR) controls where in scope.

Integration & Go-Live





- Integrate platforms with client Identity Providers (Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta) for provisioning and group-based policy.
- Configure log/event forwarding into the client's SIEM (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.).
- Design and execute UAT test matrices; provide post-go-live hypercare support; run technical training and handover sessions for the client's internal operations team.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- 3–6 years as a Cyber Security Engineer, Consultant or Qualified Services engineer, ideally within a System Integrator or MSP.
- Hands-on deployment experience with at least one SASE/SSE platform (Netskope preferred) or isolation platform (Menlo Security); familiarity with a second (Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Forcepoint) is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of proxy configuration (PAC files, explicit vs. transparent), GRE/IPsec tunnelling, TLS/SSL inspection and routing fundamentals.
- Experience deploying endpoint agents at scale via Intune, SCCM, JAMF or GPO.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

- Netskope Cloud Security Integrator (NCSI) or Cloud Security Administrator (NCSA).
- Palo Alto PCNSE, CISSP or CCSP are a plus.

COMPETENCIES & SOFT SKILLS

- Comfortable walking into varied, unpredictable client environments and deploying a modern security stack on top of messy legacy networks.
- Strong documentation discipline for HLD/LLDs and runbooks.
- Able to run more than one client engagement at different lifecycle stages at once.
