Job Profile: Shift Engineer To oversee and coordinate daily shift production activities to ensure optimal output levels & product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet daily/weekly/monthly targets.

Ensure availability of raw materials, machinery, and labour to avoid production delays.

Supervise and guide production staff and operators on the shop floor.

Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs.

Maintain records of production output, downtime, material consumption, and labor efficiency.

Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Inventory departments.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Identify areas for improvement and suggest process optimization strategies.

Handle shift planning, workforce allocation, and training of new operators.





Report deviations or breakdowns to higher management and assist in root cause analysis.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning

Leadership and team supervision skills

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Knowledge of safety standards and quality control

Basic Computer Knowledge -MS office tools, Email, ERP, etc

Good communication and reporting skills

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering/ Bachelor of Science

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production workplace
