Job Title: Production Manager PVC Pipe Manufacturing

Experience: 4 to 10 Years (Mandatory in PVC Pipe Manufacturing Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with strong expertise in PVC Pipe Manufacturing, Extrusion Processes, Troubleshooting, and Plant Operations. The candidate will be responsible for maximizing productivity, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reducing rejection and wastage, ensuring machine uptime, and achieving production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and control daily PVC pipe production activities.
- Achieve production targets with optimum machine utilization and manpower efficiency. • Improve OEE (Availability, Performance, and Quality) across all production lines. • Reduce rejection, wastage, rework, and customer complaints through process control. • Troubleshoot extrusion process issues related to pipes, dies, vacuum sizing, cooling, haul-off, cutting, and material formulations.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize breakdowns and improve machine reliability. • Monitor and improve productivity, cycle times, and production efficiency.
- Analyze production losses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with BIS, ISO, and quality requirements.
- Train and develop production operators and supervisors.




- Maintain production reports, KPIs, and process documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and lean manufacturing initiatives. • Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards.

Requirements

- Minimum 410 years of hands-on experience in PVC Pipe Manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of PVC extrusion, tooling, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and process optimization.
- Proven experience in improving OEE, productivity, and quality performance.
- Ability to lead production teams and drive operational excellence.
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, or related Engineering discipline preferred.

A results-oriented professional who can independently manage production operations, solve shop-floor challenges, reduce rejection below industry benchmarks, maximize OEE, and build a high performance manufacturing culture.
