Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Ahmedabad

Reporting To: Managing Director

CTC Budget: Up to ₹15–18 Lakhs PA

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Sunday Off)

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Production Manager to lead shop floor operations, drive operational excellence, and optimize manufacturing processes at our plant in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 15 to 20 years of hands-on production experience in engineering, automotive, or architectural hardware manufacturing setups.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: BE / DME (Mechanical) mandatory.
- Experience Level: 15 to 20 years of hands-on shop floor and plant production experience.
- Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems for production planning, inventory management, and shop floor reporting.
- Fluency in English (both written & spoken).

Target Industry & Preferred Background Shortlisting candidates from OEM / ODM setups, Engineering Component Manufacturers, and the Automotive sector, specifically targeting talent from market leaders such as:
- Architectural Hardware Leaders: KICH, Godrej, Ozone, Assa Abloy, or similar regional/national brands.
- Auto & Engineering Component Manufacturers: Tier-1 automotive component, sheet metal, and precision engineering component suppliers across the Ahmedabad–Rajkot manufacturing belts.

Key Technical & Operational Scope
- Press Shop & Sheet Metal: Operations and oversight of sheet metal stamping, deep drawing, blanking, bending, and progressive die lines.
- Die Casting & Tooling:



Direct management of zinc/aluminum high-pressure/low-pressure die casting setups, tool maintenance, and casting defect control.
- Injection Moulding: Hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding workshops, machine setting, cycle time optimization, and mould maintenance.
- Coating & Surface Finishing: Technical knowledge of automated/manual powder coating, electroplating, anodizing, and liquid spray painting.
- Team Leadership: Proven track record of managing 7 to 8 line supervisors and overseeing large teams of floor operators.
- Operational Excellence: Active implementation of 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, OEE optimization, and scrap/rework reduction.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production strategies to meet key business objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the production department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production workflows.
- Monitor and enhance production efficiency, overall output, and quality control.
- Lead initiatives for cost reduction, process optimization, and plant safety.
- Develop and manage production budgets alongside Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
