Additional qualification in Manufacturing Management / Operations Management will be an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head – Production to lead the manufacturing operations of our Modular Furniture Division. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end production activities, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower and resources, achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, controlling costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

The role requires robust leadership, production planning, process management, and problem-solving skills, along with hands-on experience in modular furniture manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations for the Modular Furniture Division.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to achieve business targets.
- Monitor daily production activities, output, productivity, and efficiency.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
- Drive improvements in production processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Establish and monitor production KPIs and take corrective actions wherever required.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications.
- Coordinate with Design, Planning,



Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth production flow.
- Manage and develop the production team, including manpower planning, allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement effective problem-solving and corrective actions.
- Control manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and waste reduction.
- Ensure timely completion and delivery of customer orders.
- Maintain proper production records, reports, and MIS.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and organizational policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Support management in developing and implementing long-term manufacturing and operational strategies.
