– FURNITURE PRODUCTION & VENDOR COORDINATOR

Position: Furniture Production & Vendor Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for a Furniture Production & Vendor Coordinator with hands-on experience in furniture, interiors, modular furniture, joinery, or a similar project-based manufacturing environment.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with furniture vendors and production factories, understanding approved drawings and specifications, monitoring production progress, conducting quality checks, and ensuring that furniture is manufactured and delivered as per approved designs, dimensions, materials, finishes, quality standards, and timelines.

The role requires a hands-on and detail-oriented professional who is comfortable travelling to vendor factories and production sites across Delhi-NCR.

Key Responsibilities1. Production & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with furniture manufacturers, vendors, contractors, and production teams.
- Regularly visit vendor factories and production sites across Delhi-NCR.
- Monitor production progress against approved timelines and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with vendors regarding raw materials, production status, finishing, quality and dispatch.
- Identify delays or production issues and coordinate corrective action.

2. Drawing & Technical Understanding
- Read and understand furniture shop drawings, production drawings and specifications.
- Verify dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, construction details and other specifications.
- Coordinate with designers, vendors and production teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Ensure production is carried out strictly according to approved drawings and samples.

3. Quality Control
- Inspect furniture during different stages of production.
- Check dimensions, material quality, workmanship, finishing, hardware and construction.
- Compare finished/proposed furniture against approved drawings, samples and specifications.




- Identify deviations and communicate them to the concerned vendor/team.
- Ensure necessary corrections are completed before dispatch.
- Maintain quality inspection records and photographs wherever required.

4. Order & Project Tracking
- Track multiple furniture orders simultaneously across different vendors.
- Monitor each order from:
- Drawing Approval → Raw Material Procurement → Production → Finishing → QC → Rectification → Dispatch → Delivery
- Maintain order-wise production trackers and status reports.
- Follow up with vendors regularly to ensure timely completion.
- Escalate critical delays or quality concerns to management.5. MIS & Reporting
- Maintain production and vendor tracking reports using MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Prepare daily/weekly production status reports.
- Maintain vendor-wise order trackers, pending activity reports and dispatch schedules.
- Track planned vs. actual production timelines.
- Maintain records of quality issues, rectifications and pending actions.

Required Skills
- Solid understanding of furniture manufacturing and production processes.
- Ability to read and interpret furniture shop drawings.
- Good knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, finishes and construction methods.
- Strong vendor coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good quality-control and inspection skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple orders/projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Ability to prepare and maintain production trackers and MIS reports.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Delhi-NCR for vendor/site visits.
- Ability to identify production deviations and take appropriate corrective action.
