Key Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
- Serving as the go-to technical expert for Food Contact Materials (FCM), assessing raw materials and coatings to ensure strict food-safety compliance.
- Running regulatory risk evaluations and greenlighting raw material qualifications.
- Tracking and interpreting changing regulatory standards across APAC markets, as well as global frameworks like US FDA and EU guidelines.
- Handling safety data, compliance tracking, and documentation.
- Teaming up with R&D;, Procurement, and international stakeholders to clear operational hurdles.
Candidate Profile
- M.Sc. or B.Tech in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or FCM compliance from the printing inks, coatings, versatile packaging, or specialty chemicals sectors
- Strong hands-on knowledge of food-contact regulations and chemical management systems.
