VSLPanorama is a SaaS software built on Salesforce for chartering and vessel operations teams. We are looking for a Product Owner who can bridge maritime business requirements with our product and development team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog.

Understand customer requirements and maritime business workflows.
1. Gather, analyze, and document product requirements.

Convert business requirements into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
1. Prioritize features based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
2. Work closely with Salesforce developers and the technical team to deliver product enhancements.
3. Review developed features and coordinate UAT/testing.
4. Identify workflow gaps, usability improvements, automation opportunities, and new product requirements.
5. Work closely with sales and customer-facing teams to understand prospect and customer requirements.

Support product demos when detailed workflow knowledge is required.
1. Help configure and customize the software based on customer-specific requirements.
2. Maintain product documentation, workflows, and functional specifications.

10.Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.

Requirements

2–5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, or a similar role.

Strong understanding of maritime/shipping operations, particularly chartering,



voyage operations, post-fixture, fixture management, charter parties, laytime/demurrage, and vessel operations.

Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business processes into clear functional requirements and user stories.

Experience working with software development teams and SaaS products.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Salesforce Knowledge

Robust understanding of Salesforce is preferred.

Familiarity with Salesforce objects, data models, workflows/automation, reports, dashboards, configuration, and integrations.

Salesforce development experience is not mandatory, but the candidate should be comfortable working with Salesforce developers and understanding technical requirements.

Good to Have

Experience in maritime software, shipping, ship management, chartering, or vessel operations.

Experience with maritime software such as Veson IMOS, AXSMarine, Kpler, Q88, DA-Desk, ShipNext, or Netpas.

Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tools.

Salesforce Administrator or App Builder knowledge.

Experience working with international customers.

Someone who understands both maritime business processes and software product development and can translate real-world chartering and vessel operations requirements into practical, scalable product solutions.
