Role Description The Product Designer will work in office in Bhavnagar in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to design plastic toy components and products. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user and market research, translating requirements into design concepts, and creating detailed visual and product design specifications suitable for high-volume manufacturing. The role involves iterative prototyping, usability evaluation, and refinement of designs to ensure safety, compliance, and manufacturability.

The Product





Designer will prepare technical drawings and documentation, align designs with brand and regulatory standards, and support cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. This position requires active participation in design reviews and continuous improvement of design processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

- Strong Product Design skills, including experience designing physical products for manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Design Thinking and problem-solving to translate user needs and business requirements into practical design solutions.
- Experience with User Research and UX Research to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Solid Visual Design capabilities to create clear, attractive, and functional product concepts and documentation.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and technical drawing for injection-molded plastic components is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials for plastics, and safety/compliance standards, ideally in the toy or consumer goods industry.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate design rationale clearly, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
