We are looking for a Product Development Designer who can help us develop commercially viable, trend-relevant home décor collections from initial concept through sampling and production.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on product design and development role for someone who understands both design aesthetics and manufacturing practicality.

The person will work on new collections for the Indian and international markets, study global home décor trends, create concepts and technical designs, coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers, and help convert ideas into production-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

- Research global and Indian trends in home décor, lifestyle, gifting and handicrafts.
- Develop new product concepts and complete collections for categories such as:
- Candle holders, votives and lanterns
- Vases and decorative accessories
- Trays, bowls and tabletop products
- Boxes and organisers
- Wall décor and mirrors
- Incense and fragrance accessories
- Planters
- Sculptural and decorative objects
- Gift and festive collections
- Create sketches, mood boards, colour palettes, material combinations and product presentations.
- Develop 2D drawings, technical drawings and 3D product visualisations.
- Work with materials including wood, metal, stone, marble, glass, ceramic, resin and mixed materials.
- Develop new finishes, surface treatments, textures, colours, printing and decorative techniques.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, artisans and suppliers for sampling and product development.
- Review prototypes and suggest modifications related to proportion, finish, construction,



functionality and cost.
- Ensure designs are commercially viable and suitable for scalable production.
- Develop coordinated product collections rather than isolated individual products.
- Assist in identifying new materials, manufacturing techniques and product categories.
- Benchmark competitor products, pricing, materials and design trends in India and overseas.
- Maintain product development records, specifications and design files.

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone with a strong interest in physical product design, home décor and manufacturing.

Skills Required

- Robust product design and aesthetic sense
- Understanding of colours, materials, finishes and proportions
- Ability to translate concepts into manufacturable products
- Good sketching and visualisation skills
- Knowledge of software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, SketchUp or similar tools
- 3D rendering skills will be an advantage
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for home décor products
- Ability to work with vendors and artisans during product development
- Good awareness of international home décor and lifestyle trends
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple product developments simultaneously

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
