Role Overview The Product Compliance – SAP EHS Consultant will lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Workplace, Health & Safety (EHS) solutions, with a focus on Product Safety and Chemical Management, for a large-scale Greenfield S/4HANA implementation. This role ensures end-to-end regulatory compliance (e.g., REACH, GHS, TSCA) while enabling seamless integration with SD, MM, PP, QM, and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

EHS Solution Design & Configuration

 Lead end-to-end SAP EHS solution design, configuration, and deployment across Product Safety, Dangerous Goods, Waste Management, and Substance Volume Tracking.

 Define and configure specification databases, phrase libraries, EHS expert rules, WWI templates, and classification structures for chemicals, compositions, and mixtures.

 Design compliant product labeling, Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS)

generation, and regulatory reporting workflows aligned with global chemical regulations.

Integration & Architecture

 Act as the primary EHS authority, ensuring alignment with SAP Activate phases, RISE operating model, and enterprise architecture.

 Collaborate with functional leads (SD, MM, PP, QM) to integrate EHS processes into O2C, P2P, and production workflows.

 Ensure EHS connectivity to both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes,



supporting Greenfield implementations and transition scenarios.

Delivery &Governance;

 Drive functional specifications, solution documentation, test strategy, defect management, cutover planning, and hyper care support. Participate in SAP S/4HANA-enabled transformation delivery across the full lifecycle (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Hypercare/Run) aligned to SAP Activate methodology.

 Support audits, regulatory reviews, and control reporting with traceable process and system evidence.

Stakeholder Collaboration

 Collaborate with regulatory affairs, chemical logistics, and supply chain teams to automate tracking of hazardous substances and manage product risk.

 Work with international teams to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with global trade regulations (e.g., REACH, GHS, TSCA).

 Mentor junior team members and operate effectively across multi-SI, cross- functional delivery models.

 Experience with EHS connectivity to both ECC and S/4HANA, including migration from Classic EHS to S/4HANA EHS under Fiori.

 Methodologies: Proven experience with SAP Activate, RISE, and Agile delivery models.

 Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams, manage BI and other business partners, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

 Exposure to SAP BTP side-by-side extensions for EHS reporting and analytics.
