Role & responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for fabrication and project-based requirements.
- Manage sourcing of skids, compressor packages, pressure vessels, piping systems, fabricated structures, and engineered equipment.
- Ensure timely procurement while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Vendor Development & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers for fabrication, machining, FRP products, and engineered bought-outs.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Techno-Commercial Management
- Lead techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations, and finalization of contracts and purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards.
- Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to achieve procurement savings.

Project Procurement
- Manage procurement activities for multiple fabrication and EPC projects.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Production, QA/QC, and Finance teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Track procurement schedules and mitigate supply chain risks.

Import Procurement & Global Sourcing
- Handle international sourcing and import procurement activities.




- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agencies.
- Knowledge of import procedures, advance licenses, and high-sea sales transactions is preferred.

Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals and buyers.
- Guide procurement planning, negotiation strategies, supplier development, and category management activities.
- Establish performance metrics and support team development.

ERP & Process Improvement
- Utilize ERP systems (preferably SAP) for procurement planning, vendor management, purchase order tracking, and reporting.
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and control.

Preferred candidate profile:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- 05+ years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Fabrication, or Process Equipment industries
- Strong experience in sourcing raw materials, piping items, pressure vessels, skids, compressor packages, instrumentation, and engineered bought-outs
- Exposure to project procurement, fabrication outsourcing, and vendor development
- Strong techno-commercial negotiation and supplier management skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems
- Willingness to work in a 6-day work setting and relocate to Jejuri, Maharashtra
- Marathi-speaking candidates preferred
