Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned HR & Administration leader to drive the overall people strategy, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and administration for a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organization.
The role will partner closely with the senior leadership team to build a scalable, high-performance organisation while strengthening HR systems, processes, culture, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall HR & Administration strategy aligned with business objectives.
Drive organisation design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
Lead talent acquisition for critical R&D;, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial positions.
Build robust performance management, compensation, rewards, and retention frameworks.
Own employee relations, industrial relations, contract labour management, and shop-floor HR.
Ensure end-to-end compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, POSH, PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, factory and safety regulations.
Drive employee engagement, culture building, internal communication,
and change management.
Lead HR digitalisation, HRMS, people analytics, payroll governance, and process improvement.
Oversee administration, facilities, security, transport, travel, and vendor management across corporate and manufacturing locations.
Partner with business leaders to improve productivity, employee experience, cost efficiency, and organisational effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
18+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Strong experience in pharmaceutical, biopharma, diagnostics, life sciences, or manufacturing environments.
Proven experience managing large-scale HR & Administration, including manufacturing/plant HR and IR.
Experience handling a significant contract/FTC workforce will be important.
Robust understanding of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations.
Experience in organisation transformation, HR institutionalisation, and working with promoter/founder-led organisations.
Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, communication, and people leadership skills.
MBA/PG in HR or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.
