:

The Cluster Operations Head will provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership to Cadila’s Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing plants across two critical hubs: Ankleshwar (2 Units) and Dahej (1 Unit).

This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence, ensuring absolute regulatory compliance (USFDA, EDQM, WHO-GMP, etc.), optimizing capacity utilization, safeguarding P&L; targets, and instilling a robust culture of safety and continuous improvement across all three asset units.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Pillars

1. Strategic Operations & P&L; Management

- Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations of all 3 API units, aligning production schedules with corporate sales forecasts and market demands.
- Drive the consolidated cluster P&L; formulate, monitor, and optimize annual operational budgets (OpEx) and capital expenditure budgets (CapEx).
- Maximize plant throughput, minimize production cycle times, and improve asset utilization across the manufacturing facilities.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

- Maintain "Inspection-Ready" manufacturing facilities at all times, ensuring absolute alignment with global regulatory standards (USFDA, MHRA, TGA, PMDA, EU-GMP, and local CDSCO regulations).
- Work closely with the Corporate Quality Head to investigate deviations, enforce CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and mitigate risk profiles.
- Act as the final site authority during corporate, domestic,



and international regulatory audits.

3. Current Product Introduction (NPI) & Technology Transfer

- Spearhead seamless technology transfers from the R&D; stage to commercial-scale manufacturing across the Ankleshwar and Dahej plants.
- Optimize pilot scale-up processes, ensuring quick time-to-market for new molecules while meeting yield and cost-efficiency benchmarks.

4. EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Governance

- Implement world-class EHS standards across all cluster sites, ensuring zero-incident workspaces and 100% compliance with Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) norms.
- Oversee efficient running of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plants at the Ankleshwar and Dahej facilities.

5. Supply Chain & Procurement Synergy

- Partner with the global supply chain team to streamline raw material procurement, vendor selection, and inventory management, mitigating supply disruptions.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies to identify and eliminate operational waste.

6. Executive Leadership & Talent Management

- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance team of Site Heads, Plant Managers, and technical staff across the cluster.
- Drive employee engagement, minimize attrition in critical roles, and establish succession pipelines for key leadership positions within the plants.
