As the franchise owner, Little Steps Learning provides strategic direction and management oversight while working closely with the centre leadership team to ensure the centre operates effectively and remains aligned with the vision and standards of the Koala Preschool brand.

Role Description

Pre-School Centre Head – Koala Preschool, Chitrakoot

We are looking for an experienced and capable Pre-School Centre Head to lead the day-to-day functioning of our preschool in Chitrakoot, Jaipur.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role requiring strong people management, communication and organisational skills. The Centre Head will work closely with the management of Little Steps Learning and will be responsible for leading the centre team, maintaining high standards of education and care, and ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the centre.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the day-to-day functioning of the preschool.
- Lead, mentor and support teaching and support staff.
- Oversee teaching and learning practices and effective curriculum implementation.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management, child safety, hygiene and wellbeing.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, training and performance.
- Build strong and professional relationships with parents and address concerns effectively.
- Oversee admissions,



enquiries and parent communication.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, franchise standards and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate centre-level resource requirements and basic budgeting with management.
- Plan and oversee school events, activities and parent engagement initiatives.
- Monitor the overall quality and functioning of the centre and identify areas for improvement.
- Take ownership of day-to-day decisions and ensure issues are handled proactively and efficiently.
- Work closely with management on the continued development and growth of the centre.

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience in a Centre Head, School Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, Preschool Manager or similar leadership role is preferred.

- Experience in early childhood education, preschool or primary school settings.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to independently lead a team.
- Solid understanding of child development, age-appropriate learning and classroom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, teachers and support staff.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to handle admissions, scheduling, documentation and basic budgeting.
- Knowledge of child safety, school policies and relevant compliance requirements.
- Comfortable using basic digital tools for communication, documentation and reporting.
- A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in school leadership or early childhood education will be an advantage.
- Candidates with strong leadership potential and relevant experience may also be considered.
