Location: JD Institute of Fashion Technology – Siliguri
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate PMT/GMT Faculty to conduct classes for students enrolled in the PMT/GMT program. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering engaging theoretical and practical sessions and ensuring effective academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct PMT/GMT classes on Sundays as per the academic schedule.
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and relevant teaching materials.
- Guide students in assignments, projects, and practical activities.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, assessments, and examinations.
- Maintain attendance, grades, and other academic records.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance to students.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding syllabus completion and student progress.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned modules and academic deliverables.
Requirements
- Relevant educational qualification in Fashion Design / Fashion Technology / Garment Manufacturing / Production Management or a related field.
- Relevant industry or teaching experience in PMT/GMT.
- Robust knowledge of garment production, manufacturing processes, and related subjects.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and mentor students effectively.
- Availability to conduct classes on Sundays is mandatory.
Compensation As per experience and institutional norms.
Pay: From ₹500.00 per day
