Scope of Role The PMO is responsible support our project teams and ensure smooth coordination, documentation, and governance of key automotive projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as experience working in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Area of Responsibility
- Provide administrative support to project managers and the broader engineering and PMO team.
- Closely work with Full Vehicle Program Leaders, Module Leaders and Lead Engineers to understand technical directions
- Manage releases & Commodity Timing for Program delivery management
- Responsible to report status for Release on Gateways
- Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, trackers, and reports.
- Assist project milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate and schedule project meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain.
- Assist in onboarding new project team members with relevant documentation and systems.
Knowledge / Experience – 6 to 10 Years
Essential
- Proven experience in a PMO administrative/support role.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1/Tier 2 supplier) is essential.
- Proficient in project management processes and tools -like JIRA,PULSE ,Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) etc.
- Strong communication skills, organization, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Skills
- Experience of working in a global, multi-site project workplace.
- Knowledge of quality standards in the automotive sector.
- Open to travel on need basis and should be able to work with European customer.
- BOM Alignments/Cost Alignments
- Commodity Planning & Sourcing Activities
- Experience in release Planning for GW Support, will be added advantage
Qualification
- Diploma /BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
