Job Summary

Hindustan Gold Industries is looking for a technically skilled PLC Programmer / Instrumentation Engineer to support automation, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and process control activities in the plant. The candidate should have hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, field instrumentation, control systems, commissioning, and industrial troubleshooting.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC programs for plant automation.
- Configure and troubleshoot HMI, SCADA, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
- Work on PLC logic, sequence control, interlocks, alarms, and process automation.
- Perform installation, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of field instruments.
- Handle pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical instruments, sensors, transmitters, and switches.
- Troubleshoot control valves, actuators, solenoids, and related control components.
- Carry out instrument loop checking, functional testing, commissioning, and start-up support.
- Read and interpret P&IDs;, instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, and control schematics.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Production, and Process teams for automation and plant-related issues.
- Diagnose automation and instrumentation faults and implement corrective actions.
- Support integration of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, and field devices.
- Maintain PLC software backups, calibration records,



instrument history, and technical documentation.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems.
- Participate in automation improvement, process optimization, and equipment modification projects.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, HSE, QA/QC, and plant automation standards.

Candidate Profile
- B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in PLC programming and instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of HMI, SCADA, VFDs, control panels, and industrial automation.
- Experience with field instrumentation, calibration, loop checking, and control valves.
- Ability to read P&IDs;, loop diagrams, and electrical/control drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, process plant, refinery, chemical, metallurgy, or similar industry preferred.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
