Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a P&M; (Plant & Machinery) Engineer based in Prayagraj. The P&M; Engineer will oversee the planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery used in railway, bridge, and road projects. Daily responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role involves close collaboration with project, site,



and procurement teams to minimize downtime, optimize equipment utilization, and support timely project delivery. The P&M; Engineer will also maintain records, prepare reports on machinery status and costs, and contribute to continuous improvement in equipment management practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in plant and machinery management, including equipment operation, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in project coordination and site management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and interaction with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in safety and compliance, including knowledge of relevant standards, risk assessment, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation and reporting, including equipment logs, maintenance records, and cost tracking.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in basic engineering software, MS Office tools, and familiarity with ERP or asset management systems.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline is preferred.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, or rail projects, especially in P&M; or equipment management roles, will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving mindset, and capacity to work in office in a dynamic project environment in Prayagraj are required.
