Role Description The Plant Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore North, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations at the toy production facility. This role includes planning and managing production schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring output meets quality, safety, and volume targets.

The Plant Production

Manager will monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, coordinate with procurement and inventory teams, and maintain equipment uptime in collaboration with maintenance. The role also involves implementing process improvements, enforcing safety and compliance standards, supervising and training production staff,



and tracking performance metrics to drive efficiency and cost control.

The Plant Production

Manager will liaise with leadership and cross-functional teams to support new product launches and continuous operational improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to manage daily plant operations effectively.
- Experience with quality control, safety standards, and compliance in a manufacturing workplace, preferably in consumer goods or toys.
- Competence in team leadership, staff supervision, and performance management, with the ability to coach and develop plant personnel.
- Capability in process improvement, problem-solving, and lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with production reporting, basic data analysis, and use of ERP or manufacturing systems for tracking output and inventory.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with procurement, maintenance, logistics, and product development teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience managing or supervising operations in a plant or factory setting; experience in toy or consumer product manufacturing is an advantage.
