Job Summary

HR Exports Private Limited is looking for a responsible and technically capable Plant Operator to operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

The selected candidate will be responsible for smooth plant operations, monitoring process parameters, maintaining operating records, identifying abnormalities, and following all production, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate plant machinery and equipment according to approved SOPs.
- Monitor plant operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, current, RPM, etc.
- Start, stop, and operate equipment safely as per operating procedures.
- Maintain daily production, equipment, and shift-operation logbooks.
- Conduct routine inspection of machinery and plant areas.
- Identify abnormal conditions, leakage, unusual noise, vibration, or process deviations and report them immediately.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department during equipment breakdowns and maintenance activities.
- Support preventive maintenance activities as required.
- Ensure continuous and efficient plant operation according to the production schedule.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, work permits, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the plant and operating areas.
- Assist during plant start-up, shutdown, changeover, and emergency operations.




- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams.
- Complete proper shift handover and communicate pending issues to the next shift operator.
- Follow company policies, environmental requirements, and applicable statutory requirements.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or relevant technical trade preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in plant operation, manufacturing, process industry, or a similar industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial machinery and plant equipment.
- Ability to understand operating parameters and maintain records.
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety and PPE.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
